Career Conversations with DC EcoWomen: Moving Up in the Impact Career Field

Advancing your career takes many forms. Whether you’re taking on more responsibility in your role, transitioning to a senior or management position, or are hoping to land that big promotion or raise, you’ll need to hone your leadership skills to achieve your goals. In this interactive event, you’ll learn how to build trust, shift mindsets, and grow your influence to move towards a position of leadership.

The event will be led by Shannon Houde, a career and executive coach specializing in the impact sector. Shannon has more than two decades of mentoring, coaching, and training professionals, executives, and job seekers who are looking to make a difference.  She recently published the book, Good Work: How to Build a Career that Makes a Difference in the World.

You’ll leave the event with tangible tools and tactics to help you build and evoke confidence and gravitas, influence relationships, and practice self-awareness and empathy so you can lead from any position.

Tickets are available for $10. We recognize that this may present a barrier for those experiencing financial hardship at this time. If these circumstances apply to you, we welcome you to reach out to rwaters@dc.ecowomen.org if a fee waiver is needed.

*Please Note: DC EcoWomen events are open to women and those who identify as women, including members of the LGBTQ community and gender-fluid individuals.
