There is an opportunity at Goodweave International for a Chief Program Officer. The role is based in Washington, D.C. The Chief Program Officer reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and is a key member of the Management Team, and works closely with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) that convenes GoodWeave Country Directors in Afghanistan, India, and Nepal. He/She manages and supports the planning, development, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of all country operations and program activities, including:
- Lead the design, development, and effective management of GoodWeave’s small team of program managers and Country Directors;
- Oversee program budgets, and ensure timely reporting and disbursements;
- Establish a program framework that guides field-level programming, allowing for local innovation;
- Ensure that GoodWeave’s core programs and pilots have operating plans and are advancing against goals and objectives.
