Verizon is looking for a Corporate Social Responsibility Manager to be based in New York City, NY. The CSR program manager will be responsible for the strategy and go-to-market execution of the Verizon Innovation Learning labs both in school environments and local community neighborhood centers across the United States. The Verizon Innovative Learning labs combine cutting-edge design and construction, emerging technology, and curriculum in a state of the art space. The program manager will work with Verizon’s in house agency, 140, and external partners (peer companies, national and local non-profits) to support the design, implementation, and management of the labs.
The program manager will report to the Director, Corporate Social Responsibility, and will have a minimum of 6 years of experience, be analytical, an innovative problem solver, self-starter and strong collaborator who excels in a fast-paced environment. He/she must understand how Verizon’s technology can be used to solve societal challenges and may serve as an external presence and spokesperson at events advancing Verizon’s philanthropic mission. The individual selected for this position must have experience leading a team, and have exceptional stakeholder and program management skills. The program manager should be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
