A position has become available at Deloitte for a Global Communications Manager, Corporate Responsibility.
Work you’ll do:
Manage key external societal impact communications campaigns, liaising with relevant stakeholders, developing communications collateral, and coordinating activities with Global groups including the Global Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability, Global Platforms, media, digital, and others.
Support the execution of internal and external communications campaigns aligned to signature societal impact initiatives, sponsorships and events such as WorldClass, sustainability, United Nations General Assembly Week, One Young World and COP26.
Develop content such as articles, video scripts, social media commentary, blogs and op-eds for publication on paid, earned, owned and shared content platforms
Develop communication materials such as key messages, talking points and briefing documents to assist member firm communications professionals with local promotion of global messaging as well as develop communications materials to inform, engage and activate internal stakeholders.
Maintain processes to ensure consistently high quality of communications deliverables.
Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships with:
· Member firm communications professionals
· Global Brand, Communications, Marketing, and Insights (BCMI) community members and leadership teams
· Global Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Community of Practice
Establish and/or share best practices for communications developed at the global and member firm level and promote the adoption of standards, processes, templates and tools (e.g., communications toolkits, key message documents, FAQs, etc.)
Proven strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong PowerPoint skills
Ability to think and work independently to carry forward projects from beginning to end with little oversight
Experience developing and executing creative, clutter-busting communications strategies for traditional media, social media, blogs, videos, and other communications vehicles
Exceptional attention to detail
Develop processes to measure campaign results and evaluate metrics to enhance/improve communications activities and strategies in order to strengthen effectiveness
Experience using web and social media platforms/tools to achieve marketing/communications objectives
Experience working with media and reporters
Fluency in MS applications, particularly PowerPoint
Experience writing about responsible business, social impact and/or sustainability and environmental issues preferred
Experience communicating global issues with multi-cultural audiences
Strong relationship building/relationship management skills at all levels
Ability to interact, work with, and advise senior leadership in a complex, matrixed organization
Minimum seven years’ experience in corporate communications and/or corporate affairs; media outlet or PR agency experience is desirable.
Subject matter expertise in purpose, societal impact, sustainability, environmental issues preferred.
