There is a great opportunity at Patagonia for a Global Marketing Manager – Sportswear. The role is based in Ventura, California. At Patagonia, the Sportswear business unit exists to pioneer and scale environmental and social responsibility, and in recent years has introduced new initiatives including recycled nylon, recycled down, natural dyes and Fair Trade. Partnering with the VP Global Sportswear, it is the Global Marketing Manager’s (GMM) responsibility to drive the Sportswear global category marketing strategy. This includes a multi-channel strategy for seasonal storytelling, supporting the brand marketing team with seasonal supply chain storytelling, as well as supporting ongoing brand-level marketing initiatives. Traditionally, the apparel industry globally has been driven by fast fashion, which does not take the environmental and social impacts of garment manufacturing into account, and Patagonia Sportswear seeks to disrupt and challenge this model.
