A position has become available at Danone for a Manager, Brand and Sustainability Communications.
There are two key pieces to this role: 1) supporting the sustainability team and 2) supporting a small number of our consumer-facing brands. This role is ideal for a brand storyteller who is passionate about sustainability and looking for diversity his/ her skill set.
The manager will work closely with the Sustainability team, bringing a consumer lens to their work. S/he will help them to articulate how our One Planet. One Health narrative differentiates us from our competitors and identify key storytelling moments for Danone North America. In addition, s/he will support the senior director of sustainability with her external and internal communications strategy and execution, including media interviews, conferences and speeches.
On the brand side, the manager will oversee brand communications for a small number of consumer-facing brands in our portfolio, ensuring that our corporate sustainability efforts are fully incorporated into the brand storytelling. Many of our consumer-facing brands have strong sustainability platforms that we intend to maximize.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong self-starter characteristics, the ability to creatively problem-solve, and collaborate across the communications team (brand + corporate communications) and across multiple functions. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, excels in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys multi-tasking with minimal supervision.
