Sesame Workshop is seeking an experienced Manager, Educational Programs to be based in New York City.
His/her work will support Sesame Workshop’s various initiatives for children and caregivers mainly in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. The position is based in the Sesame Workshop New York office, with travel to the regions of work as needed. The Manager will be responsible for supporting program design, educational content development, and implementation of early childhood development programs.
The right candidate will have a proven track record of developing nuanced and well-researched educational programs targeting defined outcomes and creating and reviewing multimedia educational content against specified learning objectives. The Manager, Educational Programs will report to the Director, Educational Programs in the International Social Impact Department at Sesame Workshop. He/she will work closely with Sesame Workshop international teams and partners, the majority of whom are based in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.
