BSR is seeking a Managing Director, Partnership Development. The role is based in New York, New York or San Francisco, California. This leadership position, reporting to the CEO and based in either New York or San Francisco, will oversee BSR’s generation and delivery of projects supported by funding from foundations and government entities. These projects are a core part of BSR’s model and enable the organization to pursue collaborative projects across all its programmatic priorities, as well as on cross-cutting efforts to create systemic solutions to crucial sustainability matters.

BSR’s grants portfolio is focused on charitable foundations, public funders such as bilateral donor agencies, and corporate foundations. Funding from these sources enables BSR to undertake innovative projects that advance the sustainability agenda, working with partners both from inside and outside the private sector. Many of our grants are also leveraged to enable increased impact based on multiple funding sources, sometimes including a mix of philanthropic, government, and business funding.
