Duke University is seeking a Program Manager, Duke Innovation & Entrepreneurship. The role is based in Durham, North Carolina. Duke I&E is launching a joint initiative with the US Fund for UNICEF to identify, assess, develop, build and scale sustainable solutions to the most pressing challenges facing children and youth around the world. The Duke UNICEF USA Social Innovation Accelerator (“the Accelerator”) will help social innovators acquire knowledge, tools and networks to achieve maximum impact for children and youth, with a special focus on scale and sustainability.
Working closely with the Duke I&E Managing Director for Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship, and in collaboration with other Duke and UNICEF staff, the Program Manager will manage the successful design and implementation of program activities to identify, select and support promising innovations, including the development capacity-building activities and innovator support tools specifically tailored for social innovators in selected domains such as menstrual health management. He/she will also be responsible for the successful design and implementation of performance management, portfolio review, and program evaluation activities of the Accelerator, working closely with the UNICEF and other collaborators. The Program Manager will also be responsible for engaging with and delivering value to multiple diverse and geographically-dispersed stakeholder groups including other Duke I&E staff, external collaborators and subcontractors, program funders, selected innovators, UNICEF and UNICEF USA representatives, and students, staff and faculty across Duke.
