The County of Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Analyst, CEO – Sustainability. The Chief Sustainability Office is a newly formed unit established by a Board of Supervisors initiative in 2016 located within the office of the Los Angeles County Chief Executive Officer. Under the general direction of the Chief Sustainability Officer, assists the CEO to manage the Chief Sustainability Office. This role helps craft the County’s Sustainability Plan including preparing written drafts, reports and Board letters, reading and summarizing relevant policies, programs, and plans, leading and/or participating in meetings with internal and external stakeholders, and managing technical and consulting staff. The CEO also ssists with the collection of and provides quality assurance for baseline data on energy, water, air quality, climate, solid and hazardous waste, parks and open space, public health, environmental justice and other environmental programs in the County.
